New Journals added to the Blood Journals Portfolio
New open-access, online-only journals from the American Society of Hematology will join Blood and Blood Advances in the Blood Journals portfolio
Blood Neoplasia will focus on hematologic malignancies and associated disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, Waldenström macroglobulinemia, hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, myeloproliferative neoplasms, minimal residual disease, and precursor conditions.
The journal will open for submissions in 2023. New articles will be published on a continuous basis under an open access model. Articles can transfer from other Blood journals or be directly submitted to Blood Neoplasia.
Blood Vessels, Thrombosis, and Hemostasis (Blood VTH) will focus on thrombosis, hemostasis, and vascular biology, as well as associated disorders, including hemorrhagic disorders and platelet blood disorders.
The journal will open for submissions in 2023. New articles will be published on a continuous basis under an open access model. Articles can transfer from other Blood journals or be directly submitted to Blood VTH.
With an Eye on Quality, ASH to Launch New Journals
In the September/October issue of The Hematologist, Dr. Robert Brodsky, ASH President, states "The Society’s peer-reviewed journals — Blood and Blood Advances — have well-earned reputations for publishing high-quality research findings that further knowledge. The ASH Executive Committee’s decision to expand its family of journals will give authors additional high-quality publishing options associated with the esteemed ASH brand." (read the full article)
