Dr. Steensma is a Senior Physician in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Steensma's clinical and research interests include molecular genetics of myeloid neoplasia and development of novel therapies for myelodysplastic syndromes, sideroblastic anemias, and bone marrow failure.
Dr. Cuker is Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his MD from Yale University and completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He continued his training at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a fellow in hematology/oncology. He holds a master's degree in translational research from the University of Pennsylvania. He is Director of the Penn Comprehensive Hemophilia & Thrombosis Program, Clinical Director of the Penn Blood Disorders Center, and Associate Director for Clinical Research of the Penn-CHOP Blood Center.
Dr. Kempton is an Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine and the Director of the Comprehensive Bleeding Disorders Center at Emory University and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Kempton's clinical focus is on bleeding and thrombotic disorders, and her research focuses on complications of bleeding disorders in adults, such as inhibitor development in patients with mild and moderate hemophilia A and low bone density.
Dr. Nowakowski is a Consultant in the Division of Hematology at Mayo Clinic-Rochester and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Nowakowski's clinical and research interests include the biology of lymphoid malignancies and development of novel, molecularly driven therapies for lymphoma.
