There are no submissions fees for Blood Global Hematology.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee (Article Processing Charge, APC) is payable by the authors, or their institution or funders, to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently freely accessible by everyone. 

The APC for this journal is:

Discounted APCs

Blood Global Hematology offers various discounted APCs according to the income level of the country of the corresponding author as classified by the World Bank as of July 2024.

  • APC will be USD 2700 per full-length Regular Article/Review and USD 1300 per Brief Report/Case Report/Research Letter for individual contributors from upper-middle-income group 3 countries, excluding taxes. 
  • APC will be USD 1950 per full-length Regular Article/Review and USD 975 per Brief Report/Case Report/Research Letter for individual contributors from upper-middle-income group 2 countries, excluding taxes. 
  • APC will be USD 1350 per full-length Regular Article/Review and USD 675 per Brief Report/Case Report/Research Letter for individual contributors from upper-middle-income group 1 countries, excluding taxes.  
  • APC will be USD 600 per full-length Regular Article/Review and USD 300 per Brief Report/Case Report/Research Letter for individual contributors from lower-middle-income countries, excluding taxes.  
  • APC will be waived (USD 0) for individual contributors from low-income countries.

All articles published gold open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download, copy and distribute. We offer authors a choice of user licenses, which define the permitted reuse of articles. We currently offer the following licenses for this journal: 

Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND)

Allows users to: distribute and copy the article; and include in a collective work (such as an anthology). These uses are permitted only for non-commercial purposes, and provided the user: gives appropriate credit to the author(s) (with a link to the formal publication through the relevant DOI); provides a link to the license; and does not alter or modify the article.
