From fun group photos with colleagues to artistic shots of award-winning presenters, Thursdays are an opportunity to share and explore memories of favorite annual meeting moments from over the years.
Hashing Out Hashtags
Hashtags allow your audience to quickly identify the topic of a social media post and help other interested users join in on or follow the conversation. Even those who don’t follow you can still find your post if they search for the hashtag you use.
The official annual meeting hashtag is #ASH24. Include this hashtag in all your posts so that meeting participants can join the conversation!
A wide variety of disease- and topic-specific hashtags (listed above) can be helpful for joining conversations you are interested in and engaging colleagues with similar interests — at the meeting and year-round. For example, be sure to use #ASHDEI to spark a dialogue with fellow attendees after attending the innovative Health Equity Studio, or include #ClassicalHeme when posting about any classical hematology sessions!
Featured Annual Meeting Hashtags
This year, ASH is featuring four meeting-specific hashtags. When using these hashtags in your annual meeting posts, you might be featured on the #ASH24 social media walls in San Diego — and may even end up on our social media leaderboard! Each day, ASH will rank the top 10 hashtag users who include one of these four hashtags in their posts. The leaderboard will reset each day at midnight, so you will have plenty of chances to make your way to the top.
Be sure to follow each of the hashtags below before #ASH24 to catch all the pre-meeting excitement!
#ASH24
This is the official hashtag representing the 66th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition. Follow #ASH24 on your preferred social media platform and join the conversation! Explore the science at the meeting and enjoy fun opportunities to interact and network with your friends and colleagues.
#ASHRunWalk
Get moving with #ASHRunWalk. Whether you’re joining us along San Diego’s Embarcadero on December 8 or participating virtually through December 15, don’t forget to use #ASHRunWalk to share your photos, cheer on others, and show your support from wherever you are. Let’s unite for a great cause!
#ASHaiku
Back by popular demand! Show off your poetic flair and enthusiasm for hematology in a haiku — three lines, five/seven/five syllables. Share your meeting-inspired verses with #ASHaiku and join the creative side of #ASH24. ASH will share its favorites.
#ASHKudos
Each year, the ASH annual meeting provides an opportunity to recognize those who make hematology truly great. With #ASHKudos, you can give public props to wonderful colleagues, innovative presenters, or your trusty mentors and mentees!
Top ASH Hashtag Users
ASH is again recognizing those who take their social media presence to the next level during the annual meeting and use the official hashtag! We have put together a list of the most active users of #ASH23 (last year’s official meeting hashtag) who included their X handle when registering for this year’s meeting (prior to the advance registration deadline). You can spot them in San Diego via their “Top ASH Hashtag User” ribbons. (The views expressed by the users on our list do not necessarily represent the views of ASH.)
