Now Hear This: ASH Podcasts Have Something to Say

ASH continues to expand its portfolio of podcasts, a recognition that busy hematologists need and appreciate multiple ways to learn about scientific breakthroughs, treatment advances, and professional education opportunities. 

The podcasts also help to bring to life the many people who are changing the face of hematology, allowing the authors of research to share their insights and the architects of key initiatives to shed light on the genesis and impact of their work. 

ASH podcasts include the following: 

  • Blood. Innovative ideas and cutting-edge information take center stage during discussions about recent articles published in the journal. Example episode: “Review series on RNA Therapeutics in Hematology.”  
  • Hematopoiesis. Developed by members of the ASH Trainee Council, this podcast series offers content for to medical students, residents, fellows, and doctoral students. Example episode: “Choosing Your Target as a Physician Scientist.” 
  • HemeTalks: Conversations in Hematology Education. The newest podcast from ASH, this series showcases educational content developed by subject-matter experts to meet your professional education needs. Example episode: “GENOM: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.” 
  • The Hematologist. Designed for the broad constituency of ASH, this podcast series features conversations between contributing editors and the authors of seminal papers, along with discussions that highlight key ASH initiatives. Example episode: “Editors-in-Chief of Two News ASH Journals Share Their Visions.”
