Highlights of ASH®
Catch up on any sessions you may have missed at the 65th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition. The 2024 Highlights of ASH meetings will provide a synopsis of the top hematology research presented at the annual meeting and offer the opportunity to discuss rapidly evolving developments and hematology/oncology with leading faculty in the field, discover new treatments for patients, participate in interactive panel discussions, and improve overall practice methods. Meeting on Hematologic Malignancies
The 2024 ASH Meeting on Hematologic Malignancies will be held September 13-14 in Chicago. Held in an intimate, small group setting, the meeting provides attendees with the opportunity to hear from top experts on cutting-edge scientific data, out-of-the-box treatment approaches, and challenging patient care questions during topic-based panel discussions and “How I Treat” presentations.

ASH Academy on Demand
ASH offers online courses, simulations, and quizzes developed by subject matter experts to meet your professional education needs. Most activities allow for the ability to earn continuing medical education (CME) or maintenance of certification (MOC) credit. Online course topics include health equity, CAR T-cell therapy consults, diagnosis and management of aplastic anemia, and more.

ASH Hematology Review Series
This series is a free review of hematology designed for fellows who are preparing to take the internal medicine hematology certification exam or those desiring a comprehensive update of hematology standards of care. The series will air two to three episodes every week starting this summer and leading up to the fall Board Exams. Each week during the series, ASH will release on-demand lectures focusing on classical and malignant hematology presented by subject matter experts. The following week, ASH will host a live study session to supplement and clarify material covered in the lectures.

ASH Podcasts
ASH offers several podcasts for members and nonmembers alike that cover cutting-edge research advances and critical discussions within the field of hematology. Podcasts include:
- Blood Podcast: In this podcast, episodes are published weekly in conjunction with each issue of Blood and highlight selected content from recent articles published in the journal.
- HemeTalks: Conversations in Hematology Education: This podcast features educational content from ASH developed by subject matter experts to meet the professional education needs of every career stage and subspecialty. Each season addresses a different topic.
- The Hematologist: Stay up to date on important developments in the field of hematology from ASH’s member news publication.
- Hematopoiesis: Developed by members of the ASH Trainee Council, the Hematopoiesis podcast is for trainees of all levels. Listeners can learn about the latest clinical and research updates, get relevant information on career pathways in hematology, and find out exciting facts about hematology’s history.

Awards
Graduate Hematology Award
The new ASH Graduate Hematology Award (AGHA) encourages graduate students in the U.S. and Canada to pursue a career in academic hematology. The award provides funding for students conducting research on hematology-focused projects and is open to doctoral students in their first, second, or third year of graduate school at the time of application. Applications are due February 1, 2024.
HONORS Award
The ASH HONORS Award contributes to the development of the next generation of hematologists by providing research funding for talented medical students, as well as first- and second-year medical residents. Applicants may choose to conduct their research during the summer over a maximum of three months or over three to 12 months. Program participants receive a research project stipend and travel allowance to attend the ASH annual meeting. Applications close on February 15, 2024.

Honorific Awards
The Honorific Awards honor outstanding hematologists who have made significant contributions to the field of hematology. Nominations for the 2025 cycle are due by July 15, 2024. Awards include:
