Mignon Loh to Head Cancer and Blood Disorder Care and Research at Seattle Children’s Free

Mignon Loh, MD, joined Seattle Children’s Hospital in December 2021 to lead the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. She previously served as chief of pediatric oncology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Benioff Children’s Hospitals.

In addition to leading the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, Dr. Loh will direct the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute. She is also division chief of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy at the University of Washington School of Medicine and heads the Section of Pediatric Oncology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.

“I’m excited to build on [Seattle Children’s history] and make an even bigger difference for the kids who are afflicted with blood diseases and cancers who need better treatments and cures,” Dr. Loh said.
